QX77 is a novel chaperone-mediated autophagy (cma) activator. QX77 dysregulates the repressive function of retinoic acid receptor-alpha over the cma machinery, inducing the significant upregulation of megalin expression in cystinotic ptcs, rescuing the defective trafficking phenotype in ctns-ko ptcs. Treatment with CMA activator QX77 rescues Rab11 down-regulation and trafficking deficiency in cystinotic cells. QX77 treatment also increases LAMP2A localization at the lysosomal membrane.

Animal A (mg/kg) = Animal B (mg/kg) multiplied by | Animal B Km |

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

Sofalcone is a gastric antiulcer agent, it is known to induce the expression of Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in gastric epithelium. |
P62-mediated mitophagy inducer
P62-mediated mitophagy inducer (PMI) is a P62-mediated mitophagy activator. P62-mediated mitophagy inducer activates mitochondrial autophagy without recruitment of Parkin or collapse of the mitochondrial membrane potential and remains active in cells lacking a fully functional PINK1/Parkin pathway. |
