β-Aminopropionitrile is a specific and irreversible lysyl oxidase (LOX) inhibitor. β-Aminopropionitrile blocks the hypoxia-induced EMT morphological and marker protein changes, and inhibited invasion and migration capacities of cervical carcinoma cells in vitro.

|Animal A (mg/kg) = Animal B (mg/kg) multiplied by||Animal B Km|
|Animal A Km|
For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

|Phosphoenolpyruvic acid cyclohexylammonium salt
Phospho(enol)pyruvic acid (PEP) is involved in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. In glycolysis, PEP is metabolized by pyruvate kinase to yield pyruvate. In plants, PEP is involved in the formation of aromatic amino acids as well as in the carbon fixation pathway.
Human transferrin is a key nutrient in cultured mammalian cells. Human transferrin is composed of a 77kDa glycoprotein containing 679 amino acids. Iron content: 300-600 PPM.
CHAPS is a non-denaturing, zwitterionic detergent that dissolves membrane proteins. CHAPS are used to stabilize various protein-DNA complexes and can preserve the biochemical activity of proteins in solution.
2-Aminoisobutyric acid is a rare, non-protein amino acid and end-product of pyrimidine metabolism, excreted in urine and found in some antibiotics of fungal origin.
Cyclohexanecarboxylic acid is a Valproate structural analogue with anticonvulsant action.
