Biological Activity

2-(2-Phenylacetamido)acetic acid is an endogenous metabolite. Phenylacetylglycine is an acylglycine. Phenylacetylglycine or PAG is a glycine conjugate of phenylacetic acid. The presence of phenylacetylglycine in urine has been confirmed for dogs, rats and mice.
