Product Information
Description: Floxuridine (5-fluorouracil 2'-deoxyriboside) is a pyrimidine analogue that is also an antitumor metabolite of oncology. Floxuridine inhibits the Poly(ADP-Ribose) polymerase and induces DNA damage in vitro by activating ATM and ATR checkpoint signaling pathways. Floxuridine is an effective inhibitor of Staphylococcus aureus infection and can induce apoptosis. Floxuridine is resistant to HSV and CMV viruses.

Stability and Solubility Advice: Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide.
We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details.
